Part 1: Communications:

If your business had to communicate something either positive or negative to the public or to a client base, what is the best way for you to do it?

Bring your questions and scenarios. Mr. Gerig will field as many questions as he can to bring you relevant and useful help in developing a plan for your business.

*Lorraine Ball, SBDC consultant and business owner of a marketing company (Roundpeg), will be helping you to develop a stronger business identity through your business communication (creative marketing and more!).

*Lou Gerig, president of renowned Sease, Gerig & Associates.  Mr. Gerig served as a Press Assistant to White House Press Secretary Jim Brady during the Reagan Administration. He was Press Secretary to U.S. Sen. Richard Lugar from 1978 to 1981, before joining the White House staff (more about Sease, Gerig & Associates below).

Part 2: IT Business Continuity:

Do you store valuable employee, insurance, or client information on your computers? Is your IT plan prepared to grow with your company?

The premise  behind Business Continuity Strategy Planning is understanding HOW to assess risks and HOW to appropriately plan for disaster.  In this session, Ms. Phelps intends to identify HOW to define business critical information and expose common security risks that could prevent an emergency from becoming a disaster.

**Tasha Phelps is president of Phelco Technologies.  Phelco is an IT solutions company specializing in network security, disaster recovery, business continuity, network management, and systems integration.  Phelco works with several small & medium sized business on infrastructure delivery and is currently engaged on several projects with the New Indianapolis Airport.

Parking:
In the event you cannot park in the covered lot, please proceed to the Tiger Parking Lot located slightly northeast of the garage. Please board the Tiger shuttle and it will take you to the terminal. The women at the registration desk (located in front of the boardroom) will give you a parking voucher that will cover expenses for either the covered garage or for Tiger.

The boardroom is located in the back hallway, on the second floor of the airport terminal. The back hallway is located between US Air and Air Tran ticket counters.
