Local Entrepreneur Selected as Finalist in Fifth Annual

“Indy’s Best and Brightest”

 

Indianapolis, IN – August 20, 2008 –  Tasha Phelps, President & CEO of Phelco Techologies, was recently selected as one of ten finalists in the Technology Industry category for Junior Achievement's Best and Brightest Award. 

 

On September 25, 2008 at the Indy’s Best and Brightest awards luncheon, all 100 finalists will be recognized.  Finalists in each category are judged on professional accomplishments and leadership qualities. Carl Brizzi, Marion County Prosecutor and a 2004 Best & Brightest Winner, will serve as Chairman of this year’s event, while Gerry Dick, host of the television program “Inside INdiana Business,” will serve as emcee.

About Tasha Phelps:

Tasha says her greatest accomplishment is building a strong team of professionals that understand it’s all about “a certain level of integrity.”  The value system that she has instilled in the company, and the quality of service that the company name represents is not only important to her, but critical to growth and expansion. 

 

She is also proud of managing a strong balance of work / home life as a single parent.  Although Tasha doesn’t wear her personal challenges on her sleeve, it is important to note that she does all of this while fighting Multiple Sclerosis. 

 

In addition to owning and running Phelco Technologies, Tasha is a published author and a monthly column contributor for Indianapolis Woman magazine.
