I can’t believe it's the middle of December and we're in the midst of the Holiday Season!  This is not only a festive time of year, but also a time to be thankful.  In my recent article in (November) Indianapolis Woman,  I talk about “The Art of Philanthropy” and acknowledge some of the phenomenal activities in our local community. 

 

The information I collected while writing the article inspired me to do something myself.  I’ve chosen to partner with a special organization that is close to me...  the MS Society.  In these last 10 days before Christmas, I hope to raise $2500 to aid families that are in significant need. 

  • What am I doing?  I’m trying to make a difference.  I'm reaching out to close friends and colleagues and I’m asking for a gift to the MS Society of only $25.

  • Why am I doing it?  Because it’s important to me to use my talents and time to do what I can to help someone else. 

  • Where do you make your donation?  You can make your donation online [ make donation ].  OR you can mail your donation to the MS Society, [mail this form] with your contribution so that it is appropriately tracked.

  • What do you get?  For every gift of $25, I've pledged to send you a copy of (not only) the last Indianapolis Woman that contains my article about Philanthropy, (but also) a copy of my newly published COOKBOOK, "Dinners & Desserts!" 

  • How long do you have to make a donation?  10 Days!  We’ve coordinated with the MS Society to collect the donations because I want to be sure to get the books and magazines to you in a timely manner  (We’ve been told the Cookbooks are a great Christmas present!)
